PROXY Pro v10.5 Hotfix #5 is now available!

Hello Friends of Proxy Networks,

We have just released PROXY Pro v10.5 Hotfix #5!

The new software version is available from the Downloads page on our website and our upgrade guides are located on the Documentation page. It is recommended that all customers upgrade to this release, especially those that did not upgrade to the previous hotfix.

Changes in this hotfix include:

Terminology Update: Microsoft has rebranded Azure Active Directory to now be called Microsoft Entra ID. References have been updated in the software throughout to match the new branding.

Reliability Improvements: a few rare but serious reliability issues affecting specific scenarios in PROXY Pro Server have been addressed. The issues resulted in a Gateway Server abnormal termination or a Host that appears connected-to, when it is not, and which cannot be connected to again.

Gateway Server “Auto-Recording”: a reliability issue in the Auto-Recording feature has been addressed. Customers using Auto-Recording are strongly encouraged to upgrade to this release.

Improved User Experience: Web Console Recording Settings and Auto Recording Settings dialogs have improved messaging, and configuring Host Screen Capture preferences now handles the case of preferring kernel-mode screen capture when possible but specifying a user-mode profile for use when kernel-mode is not available.

OpenSSL: OpenSSL v3.0.12 is incorporated into this release.

Updated Redistributables: The Microsoft OLEDB SQL Driver and Microsoft ODBC Driver 17 included with the ServerProducts installer have been updated to the latest releases. PROXY Pro Server requires any version of these components to be installed; these specific versions are not required by the PROXY Pro Server but are recommended by Microsoft to address security issues.
